Shin Megami Tensei NOCTURNE: Solo-Hard Game Log
This is page two. Page one was getting kinda long. Check page one for the introduction. I have not been keeping track of time very accurately, so it is a rough estimate.

Current Progress: Check page 3 for my current progress.

Obelisk to Yoyogi Park - Dec. 26 2004, 2:00 AM cst - 110 hours (roughly)

Ah. I haven't been keeping track of every single little thing I do anymore. I have been focusing on the game and not much logging. I'm still logging every boss battle though and I still need to update my stats since I'm currently at level 55. Here's a rundown of what's gone on.

Obelisk: I took care of the events in Asakusa and headed to the Obelisk. I went up the tower as fast as possible without paying much attention to any side areas. It wasn't very difficult. The sisters killed me easily so I gained a few levels on the ast floor and learned Void Ice. I headed back up and took them out. You can read the details in the Boss Log. I also managed to knock off two Oni and one of the horsemen in this general time period. Go me.

Amala Network 2: The second venture into the Amala Network was next. Again, the going was easy (as long as I used a Death Void magatama.) The second battle with Specter took place and I thought he was going to be an easy kill when I got into it, but he proved me wrong. Took 6 or 7 tries at least. I got him though and finished off this area.

Yoyogi Park: I haven't finished this one yet, so think of this as Yoyogi Park Part 1. Again, getting through the area is pretty easy since I know my way around. I haven't payed much attention to the chests, passing most of them up. I purchase my items with gems and macca. I know there is a Luck Incense in here somewhere and I want to pick that up. I decided this would be a good place to pick up a few levels so I'm going to do that now. Also, I went into the 2nd Kalpa, past the cursed area, and picked up that 250,000 so I can buy many Mamudo and Mahama rocks as well as plenty of Poison Arrows and Wagtail Plumes. They will come in handy in the park.

Amala Temple - Dec. 30 2004, 10:00 PM cst - ??? hours

I'm not even really sure how many hours I've been playing now. I haven't been keeping track. But I finished off Yoyogi Park and met up with Hijiri in Asakusa. I followed him into the Amala Network again where I fought Specter for the third and (I believe) last time. And now I am at the Amala Temple. I took care of the White Temple first because I wanted to get the Adama magatama from Ablion so I could learn Bolt Storm. I figure I'm going to keep this skill til the end of the game. Second, I took out Skaldi in the Red Temple. She was a push over. The only thing that's left is Aciel and the Black Temple. On the plus side, the Black Temple is really the easiest temple to go through. I can now get from the front door to Aciel in about 20 seconds. On the minus side, Aciel is the hardest boss out of the three. So, hopefully I can beat him soon. Ad I still have a number of other people on my hit list. Kin-Ki, the first oni, is still proving too difficult for me. Red Rider takes me out pretty quickly. I'm not sure I can even do enough damage in a single round to kill Mara at this point. We'll see.

At this point I took a long break from the game, but... Continued on page 3.
