This is a nice little collectible post card book that has many postcards inside. The book measures 5 and 13/16 tall by 5 inches wide and is almost half an inch thick, so it's a fairly small book. The cover of the book is white, but it has a cream colored dust jacket to protect it. The FF8 title image can be found on both the cover and the dustjacket. It's a softcover book, but all the pages are fairly think, being cards and all.

There are 27 postcards inside the book and each has an image and sometimes a white border. The images range from CG cinema stills to Nomura illustrations and are all fairly common fare to any fan of Final Fantasy VIII. Some of the cards are glossy and some are not, but all look good with the images ranging from mid-high to high quality. Each of the card pages is perforated about 3/4 of an inch from the spine. The last 3/4 inches that is not part of the card has a thumbnail of the image and is used to write the name, date, address, etc of the person who received the card. (Like you would ever dare tear out the pages of this book!!)

Finally, the last 5 pages (10, if you count front and back separately) are thin black and white pages which are devoted to giving short descriptions of the characters. Of course, this is in japanese, but it shouldn't have much of an impact on those who can not read japanese since it's such a small amount of text. That makes it a total of 32 individual pages. For completists, I should mention that this book also comes with a piece of paper which is some kind of registration or feedback card. It does say Final Fantasy VIII on it at the bottom, though. Overall, it's a nice addition to any collection.
