This figure is part of a five figure set that was sold in Japan called "Final Fantasy Heroins." (sic) The figure is made from the standard action figure PVC stuff and measures 3 and 11/16 inches tall including the base. As you can see from the picture, this figure actually has Selphie in her SeeD uniform, so that's rather cool. It's always nice to have a change from the standard every now and again.

When you purchase a Heroine, it comes in a box that does not tell which figure you are getting, so you had to take your chances if you were looking for a specific figure. She originally comes unassembled. There are a total of 8 parts: head, left arm, right arm, upper torso, lower torso/right leg, left leg, skirt and base. She does have a weapon in hand and it's not detachable, however, since her skirt is a seperate part, it's possible to put her together skirtless! :P (She has cotton white panties!)

Some of the joining points can count for some mild articulation and can be positioned how you like (such as the head and waist) but this figure pretty much has one pose. Not that that's unusual for a Final Fantasy figure or anything. The other figures in this set include Tifa, Garnet, Yuna and Rikku. Oh, and don't forget the touching words from the box, "Sometimes, you remember that impressible tales from them."
