information. You need to give your social security number to do this
though.

See the "opting out of pre approved offers." This includes a phone

to call to tell Experian to remove your name from lists given to credit
card and other companies. Phone number is 1-888-5 OPT OUT
(1-888-567-8688).
This phone number should also be listed on the back of pre-approved
credit
card offers.
