Stuff Page

Just for everyone's gerneral enjoyment, I've created a "Stuff" page
with different sections and links to various things, so enjoy!

HTML Basix - A website I've recently found that has
the best HTML content I've seen so far.

Like using different fonts via HTML coding?
Here are some
font face tips.

Here is another great HTML page called http://www.htmlgoodies.com/

If you want just the super-basic HTML tags, check out Kevin Werbach's Barebones HTML

Take the guesswork out of finding the right color for your table, page, background, etc., by using the Hex Color Finder, a super handy tool for picking the exact color you want. The Hex Color Finder is point-and-shoot; simply find a color you like or take a sample color from anywhere on your screen to get the hex color code for that color.

Get more from your text with less work, use CSS text coding.

Although learning HTML is best, beginners who want to make their own homepage now have the option to use an online WYSIWYG editor (what you see is what you get), an online program that lets you use an MS Word style interface to create and preview your page before hosting it online.

Meet one serious subwoofer.
When you look at this sub, if you're really into high powered subs, you might scoff at the power handling of 3200Watts. But if you really know your audio, you'll immediately notice that rating is continuous power handling. To give you an idea of what that means, consider this:

Say you've got your 12" 1000W car sub in a tuned box with your matched 1000W amp and you're feeling pretty good about it. But do you really know what you have? Well, first of all you were pretty smart to match up your wattage on your amp to your speaker's power handling, since overdriven amps are the #1 cause of speaker damage because, when overdriven, an amp sends harmful spikes to your speaker. Second, you had your box tuned instead of just sticking it in some little "space saver" box and killing the speaker's ability to accurately reproduce the music you're playing. Excellent. But then this guy who claims to have a 500 Watt sub and amp pair blows you away. How!? How could this happen? Most likely because the 1000Watts the guy from the store said your system had was measured in peak watts, not continuous handling. So what does that mean? It means your stereo actually is only capable of delivering 1000Watts for a very short amount of time under ideal conditions and only at it's maximum output. If driven at this wattage for any length of time, your system would burn up in a matter of seconds. Your continuous wattage, as you later find out, is only about 1/3 the amount of your peak wattage. So while you were pumping out about 340 watts, the other guy had you beat by 160 watts, and his peak system rating was 1500Watts at that.

So then, thinking back on the Bassault-R, you can see now what kind of sub you're really looking at here. Meet one serious sub.
