The Original Chirping Cricket Ringer/Ringtone by DiZiGeL

(only tested on LG VX6000)

This is a ringtone I made as a joke. It's simply a chirping cricket (the insect). I made an effort to make sure it sounded like a real cricket while being played on my cell phone (LG VX6000). There's no background hiss or noise so if you get the volume right, it will sound just like a real cricket. This sound is good for playing friendly tricks on people. It has never been more fun to get a phone call during a real boring lecture or meeting!

Anyone who has had the misfortune of a cricket getting into your bedroom and chirping while you're trying to sleep knows just how hard it is to locate the damn thing. The same is true of the cricket ringtone! Next time you forget to turn your cell phone off in the movie theater, no one will know where to direct their dirty looks. PLUS, people will wonder if it's a real cricket or not. :) (Please don't play the cricket ringtone in theaters on purpose.) Be careful not to mute the ringer right in the middle of a chirp, or people will figure it out.

Anyways, HAVE FUN!!!!

Cricket in Wav format
Cricket in mp3 format
Cricket in (fake) qcp format (BITPIM-ready MP3)

NOTE: MP3 and QCP are actually the same format (MP3), just the file types are different. In other words, the QCP is not a real QCP file. It just saves you the effort of having to change the file extension to get BITPIM to work.

No warranty expressed or implied. The sounds are provided "as is." If you damage your phone trying to get these sound files to work as a ringer on your cell phone, then you take responsibility.
