| C.O.R.E.
is an acronym for Center Of
the Reason we Eat.
Through out our lives we fall victim to numerous events and circumstances.
Some are our own faults others came as the direct effect of someone else's
wrong doing or saying something to offend or harm. We don't realize that
these things affect us later in life. If we don't seek professional help
or the help of others whom have hat he same or similar experiences we will
be consumed by that particular event or events. according to government statistics
nearly one third of the United States adult population is obese, and two
thirds of the United States population is overweight
C.O.R.E.
was formed by Deborah Mitchell (author of Flex For Life) and adopted by
patients of Dr. William Sweet whom had gastric bypass surgery and wanted
to share their experienced with one another and anyone considering the
surgery. C.O.R.E.
meetings are held once a month at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
As a part of Dr. Sweet's Surgical
Weight Loss Center (SWLC) pre-operative program patients must attend
monthly SWLC meeting which are held on Thursday evenings at 7o'clock P.M.
in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. The SWLC
program and C.O.R.E.
are related but operate as two separate entities. All C.O.R.E.meetings
are confidential and never leave the confines of the meeting room.
