Basics: Taishi is a high school senior who has a dream of conquering the world through doujinshi. Because of this dream he persuades his artistic friend and classmate, Sendo Kazuki, to draw doujinshi. Taishi is very good at taking control of a conversation, leaving little chance for Kazuki to respond. He's known for calling his friends his brothers and sisters, or sometimes he'll call them "doushi" (comrade). He's very energetic and gung-ho about his dream. I'd almost say he's a drama queen, but there's nothing fake to his enthusiasm. Taishi's body language includes many cool and determined facial expressions, much finger pointing, many poses and even some dancing.

While Taishi can be rather pushy and on a one-track-mind, he is also a very good friend. Taishi is very encouraging of Kazuki and concerned for his friend. Though he may show these traits in some rather odd ways, they're there.

Random Note: In the manga, Taishi's small, tinted glasses have frames that closely resemble the glasses worn by Vash the Stampede.
